Ten deaths, nearly 2,400 new COVID-19 cases confirmed

North Dakota’s death toll from COVID-19 is now 2,088.

The state health department has confirmed ten more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,088.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 2,373 individuals from all 53 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 216,814.

These results were from a pool of 14,969 tests for a daily positive rate of 17.48 percent.

989 of those positives were PCR tests, and 1,384 were antigen tests.

3,334,202 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 597,898 unique individuals have been tested.

159 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 2,367 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 207,013. This leaves 7,713 active confirmed cases.
