ND COVID-19: 2,190 new cases, two more deaths

Today's test positivity rate is 19.75 percent.

The state health department has confirmed two more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,090.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 2,190 individuals from 50 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 218,960.

These results were from a pool of 12,342 tests for a daily positive rate of 19.75 percent.

992 of those positives were PCR tests, and 1,198 were antigen tests.

3,346,630 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 599,510 unique individuals have been tested.

169 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 2,137 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 209,077. This leaves 7,793 active confirmed cases.
