ND COVID-19: 9 deaths, 964 cases confirmed

North Dakota’s death toll is now 2,139.

The state health department has confirmed nine more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,139.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 964 individuals from 46 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 231,841.

These results were from a pool of 9,756 tests for a daily positive rate of 11.33 percent.

398 of those positives were PCR tests, and 566 were antigen tests.

3,444,199 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 609,926 unique individuals have been tested.

141 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 1,174 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 226,352. This leaves 3,350 active confirmed cases.
