ND COVID-19: 660 new cases, five additional related deaths

North Dakota's death toll is 2,151.

The state health department has confirmed five more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,151.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 660 individuals from 47 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 234,205.

These results were from a pool of 9,701 tests for a daily positive rate of 7.67 percent.

340 of those positives were PCR tests, and 320 were antigen tests.

3,470,927 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 611,687 unique individuals have been tested.

123 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 678 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 228,491. This leaves 3,563 active confirmed cases.
