ND COVID-19: 3 deaths, 67 new cases

Today’s positivity rate is 2.35 percent.

The state health department has confirmed three more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,226.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 67 individuals from 19 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 239,189.

These results were from a pool of 3,174 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.35 percent.

46 of those positives were PCR tests, and 21 were antigen tests.

3,583,855 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 617,075 unique individuals have been tested.

52 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 118 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 236,588. This leaves 375 active confirmed cases.
