960 COVID-19 cases confirmed this week

An average of 137 new cases were confirmed per day in the last seven days.

COVID-19 cases in North Dakota are up again this week – albeit only slightly.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 960 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed this week. Last week, the department confirmed 903 new cases statewide. This averages out to just over 137 new cases per day.

Most of the new cases were confirmed in Cass County, which had 261 new cases in the last week. 104 cases were confirmed in Burleigh County, and 73 in Grand Forks County.

The dashboard indicates North Dakota’s seven day case rate per 100,000 people as 126. Last week, it was 118.

In the last seven days, 43 new COVID-19 patients were admitted to hospitals. As of today, 56 inpatient beds and seven ICU beds are currently occupied with COVID patients.
