ND COVID-19: 1,041 new cases reported

Overall officially confirmed cases continue a slightly downward trend.

Officially confirmed cases of COVID-19 are continuing a slight downward trend in North Dakota.

According to the coronavirus dashboard on North Dakota’s Health and Human Services Website, 1,041 new cases were reported statewide in the last seven days. This averages out to just over 148 new cases per day. The dashboard says North Dakota’s case rate per 100,000 people is 137.

276 cases were confirmed in Cass County, 114 in Burleigh County and 113 in Grand Forks County.

Hospitalizations are also down slightly. In the last seven days, 48 people were admitted to area hospitals with COVID-19. Currently, 59 inpatient beds and seven ICU beds are occupied with COVID patients.
