ND COVID-19: 978 new cases confirmed this week

This averages out to just under 140 new cases per day.

The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services is reporting another 978 new cases of COVID-19 this week.

According to the department’s coronavirus dashboard, this averages out to just under 140 new cases statewide per day. The dashboard says North Dakota’s case rate per 100,000 people is 128.

196 cases were confirmed in Cass County, 175 in Burleigh County and 96 in Grand Forks County. Stark County reported 85 new cases, Morton County reported 84 and another 63 new cases were reported from Ward County.

In the last seven days, 66 new patients with COVID-19 were admitted to area hospitals. Statewide, 71 inpatient beds and six ICU beds are occupied with COVID patients.
