10,563 active COVID-19 cases; eleven more dead

The state health department has confirmed eleven more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 639.

The patients were:

·        Man in his 80s from Cass County.

·        Man in his 70s from Cass County.

·        Man in his 50s from Cass County.

·        Man in his 70s from Cass County

·        Woman in her 90s from Stutsman County.

·        Woman in her 90s from Stutsman County.

·        Man in his 80s from Stutsman County.

·        Man in his 80s from Traill County.

·        Man in his 90s from Ward County.

·        Man in his 80s from Ward County.

• Man in his 50s from Williams County.   

 
1,111 new individuals from 47 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 54,305.

These results were from a pool of 6,474 tests for a daily positive rate of 18.25 percent.

939,889 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 309,498 unique individuals have been tested. 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 240 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 408 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 1,881 hospitalizations total.

Since yesterday 730 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 43,103. This leaves 10,563 active confirmed cases.
