106 new coronavirus cases; 2 deaths confirmed

The state health department has confirmed two more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,451.

 

The patients were:

 

  • man in his 90s from McHenry County
  • man in his 60s from Richland County

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 106 new individuals from 26 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 100,615.

 

These results were from a pool of 4,505 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.27 percent.

 

35 of those positives were PCR tests, and 71 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

1,702,718 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 407,138 unique individuals have been tested.

 

18 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 75 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 98,552. This leaves 612 active confirmed cases.
