110 new COVID-19 cases; 2 deaths confirmed

The state health department has confirmed two more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,266.

 

The patients were: 

 

  • Woman in her 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 90s from Ward County.

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

110 new individuals from 22 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 91,466.

 

These results were from a pool of 1,924 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.9 percent.

 

84 of those tests were PCR tests, and 26 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are: 

 

·        Barnes County – 2

·        Bowman County – 1

·        Burke County - 1

·        Burleigh County - 18

·        Cass County – 38

·        Dickey County – 1

·        Grand Forks County – 7

·        LaMoure County - 2

·        Logan County – 1

·        McKenzie County – 1

·        Morton County – 3

·        Ramsey County – 3

·        Ransom County - 4

·        Richland County - 1

·        Rolette County – 5

·        Sioux County - 3

·        Stark County – 2

·        Stutsman County – 3

·        Towner County – 1

·        Traill County - 2

·        Ward County – 7

·        Williams County - 4

 

1,297,390 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 374,048 unique individuals have been tested.

 

106 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 328 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 88,177. This leaves 2,023 active confirmed cases.
