112 new COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths confirmed

The state health department has confirmed three more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,454.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Woman in her 90s from Pierce County
  • Woman in her 90s from Ransom County
  • Woman in her 90s from Ward County

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 112 new individuals from 26 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 100,726.

 

These results were from a pool of 7,340 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.16 percent.

 

56 of those positives were PCR tests, and 56 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

1,710,021 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 407,555 unique individuals have been tested.

 

17 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 79 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 98,631. This leaves 641 active confirmed cases.
