118 new COVID-19 cases, one death; over 400k tested

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,431.

 

The patient was:

 

·                     Woman in her 40s from Williams County.?

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 118 new individuals from 23 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 98,466.

 

These results were from a pool of 7,219 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.1 percent.

 

72 of those positives were PCR tests, and 46 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

·         Barnes County – 1  

·         Bottineau County – 1  

·         Burleigh County – 23 

·         Cass County – 24 

·         Dickey County – 1 

·         Dunn County – 1  

·         Grand Forks County – 15 

·         McIntosh County – 1 

·         McKenzie County – 2  

·         McLean County – 4  

·         Mercer County – 2  

·         Morton County – 6 

·         Pembina County – 1 

·         Ramsey County – 3 

·         Ransom County – 1  

·         Richland County – 1  

·         Sargent County – 1  

·         Stark County – 10 

·         Stutsman County – 2 

·         Traill County – 1  

·         Ward County – 11 

·         Williams County – 5 

 

1,586,204 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 400,008 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

39 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 108 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 96,234. This leaves 801 active confirmed cases.
