125 new coronavirus cases confirmed; 1 death

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,455.

 

The patient was:

 

  • Man in his 90s from Morton County

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 125 new individuals from 23 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 100,847.

 

These results were from a pool of 8,035 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.2 percent.

 

72 of those positives were PCR tests, and 53 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

1,717,965 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 408,098 unique individuals have been tested.

 

17 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 92 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 98,721. This leaves 671 active confirmed cases.
