13 deaths confirmed; 152 new COVID-19 cases

The state health department has confirmed thirteen more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,400.

The patients were:

·         Woman in his 80s from Barnes County.  

·         Man in his 80s from Burleigh County. 

·         Woman in her 60s from Burleigh County. 

·         Woman in her 70s from Cass County. 

·         Man in his 90s from Golden Valley County. 

·         Man in his 90s from McHenry County. 

·         Woman in her 80s from McLean County. 

·         Man in his 70s from Ransom County. 

·         Man in his 80s from Ransom County. 

·         Man in his 80s from Towner County. 

·         Man in his 60s from Walsh County. 

·         Woman in her 60s from Ward County. 

·         Man in his 50s from Williams County. 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

152 new individuals from 31 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 96,370.

These results were from a pool of 7,407 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.4 percent.

111 of those positives were PCR tests, and 41 were antigen tests.

1,472,162 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 389,294 unique individuals have been tested. 

54 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 143 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 93,801. This leaves 1,169 active confirmed cases.
