13 more deaths confirmed; 340 new COVID-19 infections

The state health department has confirmed 13 more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,170.

The patients were: 

* Man in his 90s from Burleigh County.
* Man in his 70s from Burleigh County.
* Woman in her 60s from Cass County.
* Man in his 90s from Cass County.
* Woman in her 80s from Cass County.
* Man in his 60s from Cass County.
* Man in his 70s from Grand Forks County.
* Woman in her 90s from Morton County.
* Woman in her 70s from Renville County.
* Woman in her 80s from Stutsman County.
* Man in his 90s from Walsh County.
* Man in his 70s from Walsh County.
* Woman in her 70s from Ward County.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

340 new individuals from 38 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 88,393.

These results were from a pool of 3,675 tests for a daily positive rate of 7.53 percent.

255 of those tests were PCR tests, and 85 were antigen tests.

1,237,350 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 364,848 unique individuals have been tested.

277 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 677 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 83,995. This leaves 3,230 active confirmed cases.
