1,357 new COVID-19 cases; 13 more deaths

The state health department has confirmed thirteen more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 512.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Man in his 50s from Bottineau County.
  • Man in his 70s from Grand Forks County.
  • Man in his 100s from Grant County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Logan County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Morton County.
  • Man in his 80s from Morton County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Morton County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Morton County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Mountrail County.
  • Man in his 30s from Rolette County.
  • Man in his 70s from Traill County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Traill County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Williams County.

 
1,357 new individuals from 49 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 42,483.

 

These results were from a pool of 11,848 tests for a daily positive rate of 12.1 percent.

857,502 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 291,938 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 191 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 294 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 1,586 hospitalizations total.

 

Since yesterday 699 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 34,696. This leaves 7,275 active confirmed cases.
