139 new COVID-19 cases, one additional death confirmed

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,430.

 

The patient was:

 

·                     Woman in her 70s from Cass County.? 

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 139 new individuals from 28 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 98,353.

 

These results were from a pool of 8,575 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.08 percent.

 

84 of those positives were PCR tests, and 55 were antigen tests.

·         Burleigh County – 30 

·         Cass County – 20 

·         Dickey County – 2

·         Foster County – 3

·         McHenry County – 3 

·         McKenzie County – 1  

·         McLean County – 4  

·         Mercer County – 1  

·         Morton County – 6 

·         Mountrail County – 2 

·         Nelson County – 1  

·         Pembina County – 3 

·         Pierce County – 1  

·         Ramsey County – 3 

·         Renville County – 1    

·         Richland County – 2 

·         Sargent County – 1  

·         Stark County – 8 

·         Stutsman County – 6 

·         Walsh County – 1 

·         Ward County – 12 

·         Williams County – 6 

 

1,578,999 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 399,431 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

39 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 104 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 96,128. This leaves 795 active confirmed cases.
