14 new COVID-19 cases; 16 new recoveries

Fourteen additional North Dakotans have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the statewide total to 251.

The state health department says with 98 recoveries, that leaves 149 active cases. There have been four deaths.

The new cases include:

  • Woman in her 30s from Burleigh County, under investigation
  • Female age 10-19 from Burleigh County, close contact
  • Woman in her 20s from Burleigh County, community spread
  • Man in his 40s from Cass County, community spread
  • Man in his 30s from Cass County, close contact
  • Woman in her 30s from Cass County, community spread
  • Man in his 40s from Cass County, community spread
  • Woman in her 90s from Cass County, close contact
  • Man in his 60s from Cass County, close contact
  • Woman in her 60s from Cass county, under investigation
  • Female age 10-19 from Stark County, community spread
  • Woman in her 60s from Stark County, community spread
  • Male age 10-19 from Stark County, under investigation
  • Woman in her 60s from Stutsman County, community spread

To date there have been 8,607 tests for COVID-19 performed in the state. 849 were tested yesterday.
There have been 34 hospitalizations in total; 16 patients are currently hospitalized.
