1,441 new infections, 10 more COVID-19 related deaths

The state health department has confirmed ten more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 707.

The patients were:

• Man in his 70s from Barnes County.
• Woman in her 80s from Cass County.
• Man in his 90s from Cavalier County.
• Woman in her 80s from Dickey County.
• Man in his 80s from Grand Forks County.
• Man in his 70s from McLean County.
• Woman in her 90s from Ramsey County.   
• Man in his 80s from Ward County.
• Man in his 80s from Ward County.
• Woman in her 80s from Ward County. 

 
1,441 new individuals from 49 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 60,602.

These results were from a pool of 11,876 tests for a daily positive rate of 13 percent.

985,273 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 318,742 unique individuals have been tested. 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 293 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 421 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 2,120 hospitalizations total.

Since yesterday 1,163 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 49,409. This leaves 10,486 active confirmed cases.
