162 new COVID-19 cases, one additional death recorded

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,416.

 

The patient was:

 

•Woman in her 80s from Ward County.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

162 new individuals from 27 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 97,160.

 

These results were from a pool of 7,354 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.6 percent.

 

106 of those positives were PCR tests, and 56 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

·        Burleigh County – 15

·        Cass County – 27

·        Dickey County – 3

·        Dunn County – 1

·        Eddy County – 9

·        Foster County – 1

  • McKenzie County - 3

·        McLean County – 1
·        Mercer County - 2

·        Morton County – 4

·        Mountrail County – 1

·        Ramsey County – 4

·        Ransom County – 1

·        Richland County – 8

·        Rolette County – 10

·        Sioux County – 2

·        Stark County – 5

·        Stutsman County – 1

·        Towner County – 1

·        Williams County – 26

 

1,502,576 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 392,001 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

48 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 126 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 94,728. This leaves 1,016 active confirmed cases.
