165 new COVID-19 cases; 2 deaths confirmed

The state health department has confirmed two more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,463.

 

The patients were a woman in her 50s from Morton County and a man in his 70s from Williams County.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 165 new individuals from 26 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 101,865.

 

These results were from a pool of 4,727 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.66 percent.

 

48 of those positives were PCR tests, and 117 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

1,755,224  total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 411,904 unique individuals have been tested.

 

19 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 111 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 99,657. This leaves 745 active confirmed cases.
