199 new cases of COVID-19; two more deaths

The state health department has confirmed two more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,312.

 

The patients were: 

 

  • Woman in her 70s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 80s from Nelson County.

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

199 new individuals from 28 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 93,240.

 

These results were from a pool of 3,321 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.75 percent.

 

137 of those positives were PCR tests, and 62 were antigen tests.

·        Cass County – 69

·        Dunn County – 1

·        Emmons County - 3

·        Grand Forks County – 17

·        Hettinger County - 3

·        McHenry County - 1

·        McLean County – 2

·        Morton County – 11

·        Mountrail County – 11

·        Nelson County – 2

·        Pierce County - 1

·        Richland County - 4

·        Rolette County – 12

·        Sioux County - 2

·        Stark County – 6

·        Steele County - 1

·        Stutsman County – 2

·        Towner County - 2

·        Traill County – 1

·        Ward County – 22

·        Williams County - 2

 

1,370,783 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 378,913 unique individuals have been tested.

 

98 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 114 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 90,013. This leaves 1,915 active confirmed cases.
