2 deaths confirmed; 154 new cases of coronavirus

The state health department has confirmed two more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,486.

 

The patients were a woman in her 80s from Burleigh County, and a woman in her 50s from Cass County. 

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 154 new individuals from 30 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 106,537.

 

These results were from a pool of 5,049 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.13 percent.

 

76 of those positives were PCR tests, and 78 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

1,898,797 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 427,505 unique individuals have been tested.

 

41 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 130 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 103,879. This leaves 1,172 active confirmed cases.
