23 deaths confirmed; 575 new COVID-19 cases

The state health department has confirmed 23 more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,103.

The patients were:

* Man in his 80s from Burleigh County.
* Woman in her 80s from Burleigh County.
* Woman in her 80s from Burleigh County.
* Woman in her 90s from Burleigh County.
* Man in his 80s from Cass County.
* Man in his 80s from Cass County.
* Man in his 60s from Dickey County.
* Woman in her 80s from Grand Forks County.
* Man in his 70s from McKenzie County.
* Man in his 90s from McLean County.
* Man in his 80s from Morton County.
* Woman in her 80s from Morton County.
* Man in his 80s from Pembina County.
* Woman in her 90s from Pierce County.
* Woman in her 80s from Pierce County.
* Woman in her 40s from Ramsey County.
* Woman in her 80s from Renville County.
* Woman in her 90s from Stutsman County.
* Woman in her 70s from Stutsman County.
* Woman in her 60s from Stutsman County.
* Man in his 80s from Stutsman County.
* Man in his 90s from Traill County.
* Man in his 80s from Wells County.  

575 new individuals from 47 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 86,707.

These results were from a pool of 9,032 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.28 percent.

521 of those tests were PCR tests, and 54 were antigen tests.

1,208,966 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 302 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 493 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 81,008. This leaves 4,596 active confirmed cases.
