262 new COVID-19 cases; 17 more deaths confirmed

The state health department has confirmed seventeen more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,329.

The patients were: 

• Man in his 50s from Cass County.
• Man in his 80s from Cass County.
• Man in his 70s from Cass County.
• Man in his 80s from Grand Forks County.
• Man in his 80s from Pierce County.
• Man in his 90s from Ramsey County.
• Man in his 80s from Ramsey County.
• Woman in her 80s from Ramsey County.
• Woman in her 80s from Ramsey County.
• Woman in her 90s from Ramsey County.
• Man in his 60s from Rolette County.
• Man in his 60s from Sioux County.
• Man in his 50s from Walsh County.
• Woman in her 80s from Ward County.
• Man in his 80s from Ward County.
• Woman in her 80s from Wells County.
• Woman in her 70s from Williams County. 

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

262 new individuals from 36 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 93,494.

These results were from a pool of 4,172 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.99 percent.

138 of those positives were PCR tests, and 124 were antigen tests.

1,374,952 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 379,682 unique individuals have been tested.

93 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 191 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 90,281. This leaves 1,884 active confirmed cases.
