29 new coronavirus cases; active cases at 253

29 new individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 3,421.

The results were from a pool of 4,411 tests for a positive rate of 0.7 percent.

There were ten new cases in Cass County, six in Burleigh County and three in Grand Forks County. Ward County had two new cases. Hettinger, Morton, Mountrail, Sargent, Sioux, Stark, Stutsman and Williams Counties each had one new case.

In total, there have been 169,838 tests administered. 100,886 of those tests were on unique individuals.

23 people are currently hospitalized with the novel coronavirus. There have been 222 total hospitalizations.

There have been 3,090 recoveries and 78 deaths. This leaves 253 total active confirmed cases in North Dakota.
