30 more dead; 894 new COVID-19 infections

In a deadly new update, the state health department has confirmed thirty more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 674.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Man in his 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Burleigh County.
  • Woman in her 50s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 70s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 80s from Cass County.
  • Man in his 90s from Cass County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Dickey County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Dickey County.
  • Woman in her 70s from Dickey County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Dickey County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Dickey County.
  • Man in his 80s from Dickey County.
  • Man in his 70s from Morton County. 
  • Woman in her 70s from Pembina County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Rolette County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Stutsman County.
  • Man in his 60s from Stutsman County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Ward County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Ward County.

894 new individuals from 42 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 56,342.

 

These results were from a pool of 5,217 tests for a daily positive rate of 18.74 percent.

The state health department is having an issue with its software that compiles data on hospitalizations and recoveries. This story will be updated when those issues are resolved.
