303 new COVID-19 cases, ten more deaths confirmed

The state health department has confirmed ten more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,292.

 

The patients were: 

 

  • Man in his 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Cass County.
  • Woman in her 60s from Cass County.
  • Man in his 50s from Grand Forks County.
  • Man in his 90s from Hettinger County.
  • Man in his 80s from McKenzie County. 
  • Man in his 90s from Morton County.
  • Man in his 80s from Ramsey County.
  • Man in his 60s from Stark County.
  • Woman in her 70s from Williams County.

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

303 new individuals from 36 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 92,495.

 

These results were from a pool of 9,023 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.86 percent.

 

229 of those positives were PCR tests, and 74 were antigen tests.

1,352,502 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 376,910 unique individuals have been tested.

 

94 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 187 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 89,314. This leaves 1,889 active confirmed cases.
