350 new COVID-19 cases, seven additional deaths confirmed

The state health department has confirmed seven more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,341.

 

The patients were: 

 

·         Man in his 70s from Grand Forks County.  

·         Man in his 30s from Kidder County.  

·         Man in his 90s from McLean County.  

·         Man in his 70s from Ramsey County.  

·         Woman in her 80s from Ramsey County.  

·         Man in his 60s from Rolette County.  

·         Woman in her 50s from Ward County.   

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

350 new individuals from 42 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 94,156.

 

These results were from a pool of 10,309 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.97 percent.

 

264 of those positives were PCR tests, and 86 were antigen tests.

·                     McHenry County – 6 

·                     McIntosh County - 4 

·                     McKenzie County - 9 

·                     McLean County – 4 

·                     Morton County – 4 

·                     Mountrail County – 3 

·                     Nelson County – 7

1,392,125 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 381,579 unique individuals have been tested. This amounts to just over 50 percent of North Dakota’s entire population. 

 

83 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 204 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 90,726. This leaves 2,088 active confirmed cases.
