4 new COVID-19 deaths; new cases top 102

Four additional North Dakotans have passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 49.

The patients were all men from Cass County with underlying health conditions. Two were in their 60s, one was in his 70s and one was in his 80s.

102 new individuals have also tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The positives were from a pool of 2,105 tests. Most of the cases were in Cass, Morton and Traill Counties. 49 were from Cass, 23 were from Morton and 18 were from Traill. There were three new cases in Burleigh County, Grand Forks and Richland Counties each reported two  new cases, and Nelson, Stutsman, Walsh, Ward and Williams Counties all had one new case each.

In all, 72,003 tests have been completed. 59,200 have been administered to unique individuals.

38 people are currently hospitalized. 142 have been hospitalized overall.

To date, 2,095 people have tested positive. There have been 1,302 recoveries.
