710 new COVID-19 cases, six additional deaths

The state health department has confirmed six more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 846.

The patients were:

* Man in his 90s from Burleigh County.
* Woman in her 70s from Burleigh County.
* Woman in her 60s from Burleigh County.
* Man in his 60s from Cass County.
* Man in his 70s from Grand Forks County.
* Man in his 70s from Ward County.

710 new individuals from 39 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 73,397.

These results were from a pool of 7,091 tests for a daily positive rate of 11 percent.

The cases broken down by county are:

·        Burleigh County - 103
·        Cass County - 194
·        Cavalier County – 7
·        Dickey County – 2
·        Dunn County – 2

·        Griggs County – 11
·        Hettinger County - 2
·        Kidder County - 2
·        LaMoure County – 7
·        McIntosh County - 1
·        McKenzie County - 11
·        McLean County - 3
·        Morton County - 45
·        Mountrail County – 5
·        Nelson County – 6
·        Oliver County - 2
·        Pembina County - 8
·        Pierce County - 1
·        Ramsey County – 20
·        Ransom County - 5
·        Renville County - 6
·        Richland County - 13

1,084,813 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 339,483 unique individuals have been tested.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 314 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 377 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 2,481 hospitalizations total.

Since yesterday 892 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 62,697. This leaves 9,854 active confirmed cases.
