81 new COVID-19 cases, one death

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,449.

 

Details about the patient will be released Monday.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 81 new individuals from 24 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 100,357.

 

These results were from a pool of 4,585 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.3 percent.

 

37 of those positives were PCR tests, and 44 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

1,691,895 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 406,378 unique individuals have been tested.

 

21 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 83 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 98,240. This leaves 668 active confirmed cases.
