935 new coronavirus cases; ten more deaths

The state health department has confirmed ten more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 736.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Man in his 90s from Grand Forks County.
  • Man in his 60s from Grand Forks County.
  • Man in his 70s from Grand Forks County.
  • Man in his 70s from Kidder County.
  • Man in his 50s from Mountrail County.
  • Man in his 80s from Ramsey County. 
  • Woman in her 80s from Stutsman County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Stutsman County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Stutsman County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Walsh County. 

 
935 new individuals from 46 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 63,798.

 

These results were from a pool of 8,049 tests for a daily positive rate of 12.54 percent.

1,008,066 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 323,660 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 322 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 400 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 2,178 hospitalizations total.

 

Since yesterday 922 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 51,936. This leaves 11,124 active confirmed cases.
