936 new COVID-19 cases, nine more deaths

The state health department has confirmed eight additional deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 448.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Man in his 60s from Grand Forks County.
  • Man in his 70s from Pierce County.
  • Man in his 80s from Ward County.
  • Man in his 80s from Ward County.
  • Man in his 90s from Ward County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Ward County.
  • Woman in her 70s from Ward County.
  • Woman in her 60s from Williams County.

 
936 new individuals from 47 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 36,874.

 

These results were from a pool of 7,763 tests for a daily positive rate of 12.64 percent.

807,053 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 281,668 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 166 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 278 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 1,407 hospitalizations total.

 

Since yesterday 749 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 30,116. This leaves 6,310 active confirmed cases.
