94 new COVID-19 cases, one additional death

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,442.

 

The patient was a man in his 60s from Cass County.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 94 new individuals from 24 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 99,711.

 

These results were from a pool of 8,185 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.59 percent.

 

57 of those positives were PCR tests, and 37 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

1,652,831 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 404,058 unique individuals have been tested.

 

21 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 91 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 97,562. This leaves 707 active confirmed cases.
