94th death recorded; 82 new coronavirus cases confirmed in ND

Another North Dakotan has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 94.

The patient was a woman in her 90s from Cass County. She had underlying health conditions.

Additionally, 82 new individuals from 20 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the new statewide positive total to 5,207. These results were from a pool of 3,739 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.2 percent.

Burleigh and Grand Forks Counties each had fifteen new cases, while Cass County had ten, and Williams County had nine. Benson, McKenzie, Walsh and Ward Counties each had four new cases. There were three new cases found in Morton County. Mountrail and Stutsman Counties each had two new cases. Barnes, Griggs,  McIntosh, Mercer, Pembina, Ramsey, Richland, and Stark Counties each had one new case apiece.

To date, 266,690 tests have been administered for COVID-19. 137,293 tests have been completed on unique individuals.

46 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 309 total hospitalizations.

There have been 4,319 recoveries. This leaves 794 active confirmed cases.
