Active COVID cases under 2,000; 94 new infections, four deaths

The state health department has confirmed four more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,270.

 

The patients were: 

 

  • Woman in her 70s from Burleigh County.
  • Woman in her 60s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 80s from Morton County.
  • Man in his 70s from Ramsey County.

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

94 new individuals from 22 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 91,559.

 

These results were from a pool of 2,194 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.03 percent.

 

79 of those tests were PCR tests, and 15 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

·         Burleigh County - 18

·         Cass County – 23

·         Dickey County – 1

·         Grand Forks County – 7

·         Kidder County – 1

·         McHenry County – 2

·         McIntosh County – 1

·         McLean County – 3

·         Mercer County - 2

·         Morton County – 8

·         Ramsey County – 2

·         Ransom County - 1

·         Richland County - 2

·         Rolette County – 1

·         Sioux County - 1

·         Stark County – 2

·         Stutsman County – 3

·         Towner County – 1

·         Traill County - 1

·         Ward County – 9

·         Williams County - 2

 

1,299,585 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 374,321 unique individuals have been tested.

 

108 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 188 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 88,411. This leaves 1,878 active confirmed cases.
