Eleven deaths; 303 new COVID-19 cases

The state health department has confirmed eleven more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,352.

The patients were: 

·         Woman in her 80s from Barnes County.  

·         Woman in her 90s from Cass County.  

·         Woman in her 80s from Cass County.  

·         Woman in her 50s from Cass County.  

·         Man in his 70s from Grand Forks County. 

·         Woman in her 90s from McLean County.  

·         Man in his 80s from McLean County.   

·         Woman in her 80s from Morton County.  

·         Man in his 70s from Rolette County.  

·         Woman in her 80s from Stutsman County. 

·         Woman in her 70s from Ward County.  

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

303 new individuals from 40 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 94,438.

These results were from a pool of 8,124 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.21 percent.

257 of those positives were PCR tests, and 46 were antigen tests.

1,400,269 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 382,414unique individuals have been tested. 

85 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 238 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 90,964. This leaves 2,122 active confirmed cases.
