Eleven deaths, 760 new COVID-19 cases

The state health department has confirmed eleven more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 399.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Man in his 70s from Burleigh County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 70s from Dunn County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 90s from Foster County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 80s from Grant County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 70s from McHenry County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 90s from McLean County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 90s from Morton County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 90s from Morton County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 90s from Stark County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 90s from Stutsman County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 70s from Traill County with underlying health conditions.

 

Additionally, 760 new individuals from 45 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 31,261.

 

These results were from a pool of 7,596 tests for a daily positive rate of 10.5 percent.

754,769 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 268,792 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 148 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 217 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 1,242 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 25,492 recoveries. This leaves 5,370 active confirmed cases.
