Four deaths, 135 new coronavirus cases in ND

The state health department has confirmed four more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,415.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Man in his 60s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 60s from Cass County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Golden Valley County.
  • Man in his 80s from Stark County.

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

135 new individuals from 21 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 97,006.

 

These results were from a pool of 3,626 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.37 percent.

 

65 of those positives were PCR tests, and 70 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

·         Benson County – 1

·         Bowman County - 2

·         Burleigh County – 21

·         Cass County – 19

·         Eddy County - 4

  • Grand Forks County – 11
  • McHenry County – 1
  • McKenzie County - 3

·         McLean County – 2
·         Mercer County - 2

·         Morton County – 7

·         Ramsey County – 3

·         Ransom County - 2

·         Richland County – 4

·         Rolette County - 7

·         Stark County – 1

·         Stutsman County – 4

·         Traill County – 2

·         Walsh County - 2

·         Ward County – 21

·         Williams County – 16

 

1,495,230 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 391,291 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

48 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 157 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 94,584. This leaves 1,008 active confirmed cases.
