ND COVID-19: 2 new deaths, 58 new cases

Two more North Dakotans have passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 105.

The patients were a man in his 70s from Grand Forks County and a woman in her 50s from Burleigh County. They each had underlying health conditions.

Additionally, 58 new individuals from 18 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the new statewide positive total to 6,660. These results were from a pool of 3,965 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.5 percent.

17 new cases were found in Burleigh County. Stutsman County had six new cases. There were five new cases each in Cass, McIntosh and Stark Counties. Four new cases were found in Morton County. Three new cases were found in Ramsey County. Grand Forks and Mountrail Counties each had two new cases. Barnes, Benson, Logan, McLean, Oliver, Richland, Rolette, Ward and Williams Counties each had one new case apiece.

320,182 total tests for COVID-19 have been administered. 157,023 unique individuals have been tested in the state.

There are currently 50 people hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 377 total hospitalizations.

There have been 5,477 recoveries. This leaves 1,078 active confirmed cases in the state.
