ND COVID-19: 975 new cases, nine more deaths

The state health department has confirmed nine more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 540.

 

The patients were:

 

·        Woman in her 70s from Burleigh County.

·        Man in his 80s from Dickey County.

·        Man in his 90s from Dickey County.

·        Man in his 50s from Dunn County.

·        Man in his 70s from McLean County.

·        Man in his 90s from Morton County.

·        Woman in her 80s from Sargent County.

·        Woman in her 90s from Stutsman County.

·        Woman in her 90s from Stutsman County. 

 

975 new individuals from 46 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 46,015.

 

These results were from a pool of 8,204 tests for a daily positive rate of 12.62 percent.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

884,557 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 297,447 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 215 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 274 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 1,656 hospitalizations total.

 

Since yesterday 631 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 37,035. This leaves 8,440 active confirmed cases.
