ND COVID-19: Ten more deaths, 516 new cases

The state health department has confirmed ten additional deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 422.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Woman in her 70s from Burleigh County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 70s from Burleigh County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 80s from Emmons County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 60s from Kidder County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 60s from McLean County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 70s from McLean County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 80s from Oliver County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 80s from Stutsman County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 70s from Ward County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 90s from Ward County with underlying health conditions.

 
516 new individuals from 45 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 34,165.

 

These results were from a pool of 6,493 tests for a daily positive rate of 8.35 percent.

782,486 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 275,596 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 152 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 219 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 1,324 hospitalizations total.

 

Since yesterday 403 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 27,769. This leaves 5,974 active confirmed cases.
