ND Health Dept: six deaths, 475 new coronavirus cases

Six more North Dakotans have passed away with the novel coronavirus, bringing the statewide death toll to 345.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Woman in her 90s from Emmons County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 50s from Dunn County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 80s from Nelson County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 80s from Nelson County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 90s from Traill County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 80s from Traill County with underlying health conditions. 

 
Additionally, 475 new individuals from 41 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 27,737.

 

These results were from a pool of 5,599 tests for a daily positive rate of 8.89 percent.

717,732 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 260,339 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 158 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 233 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 1,099 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 22,846 recoveries. This leaves 4,546 active confirmed cases.
