ND Health Dept: three deaths, 35 new COVID-19 cases

The state health department has confirmed three more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,520.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 35 new individuals from 10 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 110,386.

 

These results were from a pool of 2,046 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.45 percent.

 

17 of those positives were PCR tests, and 18 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

2,040,417 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 442,839 unique individuals have been tested.

 

20 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 33 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 108,516. This leaves 350 active confirmed cases.
