State confirms 3 COVID-19 deaths, 29 new cases of virus

The state health department has confirmed six more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,526.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 29 new individuals from twelve counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 110,598.

 

These results were from a pool of 1,020 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.62 percent.

 

Three of those positives 13 were PCR tests, and 16 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

2,056,368 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 445,014 unique individuals have been tested.

 

18 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 21 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 108,860. This leaves 212 active confirmed cases.
