State health department: 43 new COVID-19 infections

43 new individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 3,657.

The results were from a pool of 3,625 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.2 percent.

There were 17 new cases in Cass County, and 14 in Burleigh County. Three new cases were detected in Grand Forks County. Morton and Stark Counties each had two new cases, while Cavalier, McHenry, Traill, Walsh and Wells Counties each had one new case.

To date, 188,414 tests for the novel coronavirus have been administered. 108,195 of those tests have been completed on unique individuals.

There are currently 19 people hospitalized with COVID-19. 234 individuals have been hospitalized overall.

There have been 3,235 recoveries and 80 deaths. This leaves 342 active confirmed cases in the state.
