49 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified by the state health department, bringing the statewide positive total to 2,365.
The cases were identified from a pool of 2,408 tests administered yesterday. Today’s positive rate was 2 percent.
There were 46 cases from Cass County. Burleigh, Grand Forks and Ransom Counties all reported one new case.
Since the pandemic began, a total of 80,046 tests have been completed for the novel coronavirus. 64,148 of those tests were done on unique individuals.
39 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19, while 150 people have been hospitalized overall.
There have been 1,451 recoveries and 52 deaths.
The total number of active confirmed cases in North Dakota is currently 862.
