Ten dead, 952 new COVID-19 cases

The state health department has confirmed ten more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 897.

The patients were:

* Woman in her 80s from Burleigh County.
* Man in his 90s from Burleigh County.
* Woman in her 70s from Cass County.
* Woman in her 80s from Cass County.
* Woman in her 90s from Dickey County.
* Man in his 60s from Dickey County.
* Woman in her 80s from Foster County.
* Man in his 40s from McHenry County.
* Man in his 80s from McKenzie County.
* Man in his 80s from Ward County. 

952 new individuals from 47 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 76,442.

These results were from a pool of 8,897 tests for a daily positive rate of 11.6 percent.

The cases broken down by county are:

1,111,437 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 344,754 unique individuals have been tested.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 302 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 321 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 2,608 hospitalizations total.

Since yesterday 944 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 67,200. This leaves 8,345 active confirmed cases.
